Hello to all of you new 4th graders and your parents! Everyone has a story to tell and this year I want to hear from each of you. We will be writing, a lot, and reading, a lot, during Reader’s Workshop and Writer’s Workshop in the mornings. We’ll continue to build our classroom library this year, so send me a list of your favorite authors or book titles.

The first week of school we’ll be getting to know each, so please bring in 3-5  of your favorite family photos, with pets of course. We’ll make cool ‘All About Me’ posters to hang around the room as we make room 105 your new home away from home.  I can’t wait to meet you.
